Japan's used sturdy school backpacks -known as randoseru- are making a difference in child education of Afghanistan. Working with its local partners including the UN, a Japanese nonprofit, JOICFP, has distributed nearly 200,000 backpacks in great condition with other school supplies since 2004. These backpacks have raised community awareness on child education, particularly those of girls, and motivated parents to let their children attend school. Learn more:https://bit.ly/2WVBClf
